Attack Dogs

2 dogsOn July 2 I was attacked by Boy Toy and Kooky Girl. On July 26, she was found guilty of battery against me. Boy Toy was never charged with a crime.

I was stopped at a light in town and glanced over to see Boy Toy in his SUV (SUV…that’s funny enough since he’s a Mustang kind of guy. What’s he doing with a Mom truck?). There’s so much bad blood between us I flipped him the bird. Okay, so not my finest moment, but he deserves it. I honestly didn’t see Kooky Girl in the truck with him.

He veered into my lane, slammed on his brakes, put his car in reverse intimidatingly, parked and flew out the driver’s side door, coming right at me, screaming, “You got something to say to me? Say it to my face! Then Kooky Girl jumped out of the passenger’s side door and came at me, too.

They were both like rabid dogs. It was terrifying.

She had a bottle of water in her hand and (my driver’s side window was down) poured it all over my head, chest and lap, also splashing it on my leather seats, then threw the crumbled bottle at me. She was screaming something unintelligible. Boy Toy reached into my window (it all happened so fast, I  didn’t have time to roll it up), tore my sunglasses off my face and they both ran back to their SUV and took off as the light turned green. He kept the glasses, never to be seen again.

I made a U-turn and headed back one block to the police station, telling the cops, “I’ve been attacked.” I was soaking wet and still shaking from the incident. I made a police report and they made a beeline to the offenders’ house to get their side of the story. Boy Toy denied stealing my glasses, but Kooky Girl did herself in by admitting to the crime.

They placed her under arrest right there in their home, cuffed her, and drove her back to the police station where they booked her for battery. I signed the complaint. Bail was set at a reasonable $120 and I’m sure you can guess who paid it…..Boy Toy! AGAIN! It’s at least the second time he’s paid for her crimes and misdemeanors.  She’s completely lawless (and she’s also probably broke).

Bail Bond

So we had our day in court on July 26, with the pair of them showing up with an armload of what I can only suppose were copies of my blog and Twitter posts. (They don’t like me writing about them.) She pleaded Not Guilty when she initially stepped before the judge, then the Prosecutor took them aside and told them none of their “evidence” mattered in this case: she was going to be found guilty because the cop who took her statement after the incident was there and ready to be a witness. I’m sure she was advised to plead Guilty, take the fine and court supervision. It was a better deal than pleading NG and standing trial where she was sure to lose, and probably get a harsher sentence.

The Prosecutor came over to me (and my husband, an attorney) and told us what was about to go down. I smiled broadly. It was certain victory: Kooky Girl was going to get fined and punished. She advised us to leave the courtroom before the sentencing — probably to avoid any extra confrontation — and we did. I felt great. Hubby and I went out to dinner that night to celebrate, and, for me, to start the process of forgetting.

This woman now has almost two dozen convictions, yet she’s like fly paper for the cops. She may be under court supervision, but it’s only a matter of time before something sticks again.

A former mistress (26 years, on-and-off) describes the good, the bad, and the ugly of her long-term affair. Conclusion: Affairs aren't necessarily destructive if kept in the correct perspective. Our experience enhanced BOTH our marriages.

That is, until his marriage ended and we began to love each other. When the affair morphed into a relationship, well, that's when it stopped being fun for me. We have now irrevocably split.

Lately I've been writing about the man who took his place in the "off" years of that 26-year-long affair. He was a dynamic sexual partner but we, too, now have irrevocably split.

These are our stories.

  1. Another riveting chapter. Too bad this story is probably coming to an end with the much anticipated move if Boy Toy and Kooky Girl to Minn. Oh well.

    1. They’re in Michigan, not Minn. but whatever, they’re gone so GOOD RIDDANCE! Couldn’t happen soon enough for me. And there are MORE chapters to come…I have lots more to say about Boy Toy and his Kooky Girlfriend!
